Start with a ready-made shampoo formulation or a custom-development brief. Texture can be tailored from thicker to ultra-light, subject to the formula and sample evaluation. Confirm the shampoo fill size, bottle and closure with the team rather than assuming that a pack listed for another product applies here.

Orders from as low as 500 units per SKU are possible under the agreed final offer and company terms. Plan for an indicative 1–6 week production lead time after sample approval, with the schedule confirmed for the selected shampoo. Samples carry a charge that is adjusted against production, and revision limits are agreed with the team. Request a written quotation for the formulation route, quantity, pack and testing; there is no universal shampoo unit price.

Shampoo samples, batches and stability testing are handled in-house by the R&D and quality team. Available records include the Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR), Batch Packing Record (BPR) and Certificate of Analysis (COA). External testing via a NABL-accredited laboratory is also available by arrangement, with the required tests, reports and charges specified for the order.

State the intended user and usage routine, then explain your preferences for texture, foam, fragrance and rinse-off. A salon reference and a daily home-use reference may represent very different briefs.

Specify what you like about a benchmark rather than asking for an undefined match. Discuss the cleansing-system approach with the development team and agree what the proposed sample needs to demonstrate before it is approved.

Ready sulfate-free and anti-dandruff shampoo formulations are available, and custom development is possible for either route. The same indicative MOQ, sample-charge adjustment and post-sample-approval lead-time terms described above apply, subject to the final offer and company terms.

For a sulfate-free brief, identify the ingredient exclusions you require so the team can match the specification to an available base or development plan. For anti-dandruff shampoo, discuss the approved formulation and supporting product documents with the team. Manufacture is under our Uttar Pradesh licensing scope; approval does not establish an unspecified clinical result, cure or reduction percentage for your label.

Supply the intended fill size, bottle preference and closure type with your enquiry. Consider the way the customer handles a wet bottle and dispenses the shampoo, as well as the appearance of the pack.

A sample assessment should include dispensing and pack suitability. Discuss component availability, filling requirements, label dimensions and decoration before ordering packaging. Pack changes can alter procurement quantities and the production schedule.

Review texture, fragrance, appearance and use experience against the agreed brief. Record feedback consistently across sample rounds, including the bottle and closure tested.

Ask which stability, compatibility and batch checks apply, and how the approved sample becomes the production reference. If you are launching a conditioner alongside the shampoo, evaluate it as a separate SKU with its own formulation, packaging and quantity requirements.

Formula, fill volume, bottle, closure, label, carton and batch quantity all contribute. Development, samples, testing, taxes and freight should be identified separately where they are outside the unit price.

There is no single price that applies to every private-label shampoo. Ask for a quotation at your intended quantity, and compare an alternative quantity only on the same specification. Confirm the MOQ and schedule for your particular SKU rather than treating general website guidance as a commitment.
