Make an informed brief
A shampoo, conditioner and finishing serum should belong to the same brand, but each needs its own manufacturing brief. SOUL ARÔME's hair-care catalogue covers these formats alongside oils, masks, creams, tonics and styling gel.
Not sure which route fits?
Discuss it on WhatsAppChoose the steps your customer actually needs: cleanse, condition or finish. Decide which product leads the launch and which can follow after sample evaluation. Different fragrances, pack sizes and formula versions increase the number of SKUs to plan.
Shampoo development focuses on the desired cleansing experience. A conditioner brief needs a defined application and rinse or leave-in approach. A hair serum brief should explain finish and use; do not assume that a facial-serum formulation is suitable for hair.
For conditioners, describe spread, slip, application and rinse preferences. For hair serums, describe the desired feel, dispensing amount and finish. Oils and masks introduce different handling and packaging questions again.
Choose between available private-label options and custom development by comparing samples against those targets. Claims about heat protection, repair or other performance need evidence for the product being proposed, not an inference from the category name.
A coordinated appearance can still use different closures or pack materials. Specify fill sizes and preferences for bottles, pumps or jars, then discuss compatibility and filling requirements for each product.
Ask which components share procurement requirements and which must be sourced separately. Matching the appearance of two packs does not establish matching minimum quantities, availability or production timing.
Provide the number of SKUs, expected quantity per SKU, packaging and formulation route. Request separate lines for development, samples, testing and recurring manufacture where applicable.
Evaluate the samples together as a customer routine, but record approvals independently. Before committing, confirm which products are ready for production and whether any unfinished component or approval affects dispatch of the whole range.
Before you enquire
Product-specific scope comes from your written offer. Manufacturing quotations are separate from paid brand consultation.
Yes. Both appear in the published hair-care catalogue. Send the intended use, texture, packaging and quantity for a project-specific discussion.
Do not assume that it does. Confirm quantity requirements for each formula, pack and SKU, including packaging procurement commitments.
Our dedicated shampoo manufacturing page covers cleansing briefs, bottle selection, sample evaluation and quotation factors in greater detail.
