In-house R&D

Formulation, sample development and stability testing are carried out in-house. External testing through a NABL-accredited laboratory can be arranged with scope and charges agreed.

Batch traceability

COAs, batch manufacturing records and batch packaging records are available. Agree which reports and documents are supplied for your specific order.

Documented company credentials

Review ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22716:2007 and the published cosmetic manufacturing licence. Company credentials have a different scope from product-specific performance reports.

Make an informed brief

The manufacturing detail.

A serum brief needs a clear intended use, a target feel and a pack that dispenses it well. SOUL ARÔME offers face serum within its skincare range, with private-label and custom-development discussions for beauty brands.

Facial-serum development and pack options

SOUL ARÔME offers both ready-made serum formulations and custom development. Textures can be adjusted from thicker to ultra-light according to the client's brief and formulation assessment. Available serum fill sizes range from 10–50 ml; assess the chosen bottle and dispensing system with the sample.

Serum quantities can be as low as 500 units per SKU, subject to the final offer, packaging requirements and company terms. The indicative production lead time is 1–6 weeks after sample approval. Serum samples are charged, with those charges adjusted against production; agree revision limits before development. Packaging and the test programme form part of the confirmed schedule, and manufacturing prices remain quote-based.

Our in-house R&D laboratory handles sampling, batch tests and stability work. BMRs (Batch Manufacturing Records), BPRs (Batch Packing Records) and COAs (Certificates of Analysis) are available for the project. Where external evidence is required, testing through a NABL-accredited laboratory can be arranged with its scope and cost agreed in the quotation.

02

Define the base and the intended experience

Explain how the serum fits into a routine and what the customer should notice when applying it. Fluidity, absorption preference, finish and fragrance are useful starting points. A reference product can clarify the target more effectively than a long list of ingredients.

Agree the formulation route after assessing available options. A private-label base may suit one launch; a bespoke sensory or ingredient brief may need development. Confirm the scope and sample milestones before treating either route as commercially settled.

03

Niacinamide and vitamin-C serums for private label

Ready niacinamide and vitamin-C serum formulations are available for private-label manufacture, with custom development possible for both. Start by comparing the available sample with the sensory experience and packaging your brand needs.

For a niacinamide serum, agree the formula specification and ingredient level rather than selecting a percentage without a complete brief. For a vitamin-C serum, discuss the proposed ingredient form, appearance and pack with the team. Stability work and any additional product claims should be scoped for the actual version you approve; no concentration or efficacy result is inferred here.

04

Choose a dropper or pump for the actual formula

A pack should be evaluated with the serum it will contain. Discuss bottle material, closure, dispensing and fill volume, then assess the proposed combination during sampling.

Check how easily the product draws into a dropper or passes through a pump, how consistently it dispenses and whether the closure meets the use brief. Ask what stability and packaging-compatibility work is included and what additional work would be quoted separately.

05

Approve a defined sample, not a moving target

Keep a record of the sample reference, appearance, fragrance, texture and dispensing feedback. If the brief changes between rounds, establish which version is being considered for final approval.

Before production, agree the specifications and quality records relevant to the SKU. Our quality process describes incoming, in-process and finished-goods checks; it does not substitute for a product-specific test plan or an approved claim.

06

Read serum quotations by scope

The base formulation, requested ingredients, fill size, bottle and closure, order quantity, testing and decoration influence manufacturing cost. Development and sampling may be separate from recurring batch costs.

Ask for the MOQ per SKU and the purchase requirements for the selected pack. Share launch timing as a planning input, then confirm a schedule against samples, components and approvals. Request a serum-specific quote rather than assuming another skincare product has the same economics.

Before you enquire

Your questions, answered.

Product-specific scope comes from your written offer. Manufacturing quotations are separate from paid brand consultation.

Can you discuss a private-label facial serum?

Yes. Face serum is in our published catalogue. Submit the intended use, texture, packaging and quantity so the team can assess available formulation routes.

Is an ingredient-led serum automatically custom development?

That depends on the available base and requested changes. Ask which elements can be adapted and which require development, testing or revised commercial terms.

Does the serum quote include the dropper bottle?

Packaging inclusion must be stated in the quotation. Specify the bottle, closure and decoration requirements so filled-unit and packaging costs can be compared clearly.
